You’ll Receive: Four packets of Certified OU-D Kosher mesophilic starter culture. Each packet yields approximately 1 Quart of Buttermilk (to start – see note below).
Re-cultureable: Extend the life of each packet by reserving a portion of finished buttermilk and using it to reculture your next several batches. Once performance decreases, use a fresh pouch of culture.
Booklet: A detailed step-by-step instruction booklet walks you through the process of making your very own cultured buttermilk!
Get Creative: Freshly made cultured buttermilk is delicious on its own, but we’ve also included recipes for some of our favorite compound butter to churn things up!
