These metal crown caps are made for standard 26mm pry-off beer bottles and come in a pack of 144. They’re a good choice for sealing your homebrew—whether it’s beer, cider, or another carbonated beverage. The pry-off design gives a tight, reliable seal that helps lock in carbonation while keeping oxygen and contaminants out.
Easy to notate, you can write on top of the lid or label your bottles however you like. The interior features an oxygen-absorbing liner along with a double-seal lip to help preserve the flavor and shelf life of your batch. These caps are compatible with most manual and automatic bottle cappers and are PVC-free. Just make sure not to use them on twist-off bottles.
In addition to brewing, these caps are also popular for craft and DIY projects, so if you end up with extras, there’s plenty you can do with them.
26 mm diameter caps fit American bottles. Some imported bottles and some sparkling wine bottles use a 29 mm cap instead. We recommend test fitting prior to filling if you’re re-using an imported bottle.
Important to note: It is recommended that you only sanitize as many caps as you’ll require at the time of bottling. The oxygen-absorbing agent is activated when the cap gets wet. If wetted caps are saved for later use, they’ll still function as a normal cap, but the oxygen absorbing agent may be depleted.
