Briess Carapils Malt: Used in brewing to enhance beer’s body, mouthfeel, and head retention. It’s a dextrin malt, different from caramel malts, and doesn’t significantly change beer color or flavor.

Add Fullness and Smoothness Without Altering Alcohol, Color, or Flavor: The malt adds fullness and smoothness to beer without increasing alcohol content. It improves head retention, creating a creamier head, and maintains the beer’s original color and flavor, suitable for various beer styles.

High-Dextrin: This is a high-dextrin, non-fermentable malt produced by Briess Malt & Ingredient Co. It differs from caramel malts and is consistent in quality due to its proprietary production process.

Usage: Use 2-5% of Briess Carapils Malt in the grain bill. It can be mashed with other grains or steeped separately. Because it has low/no enzyme activity, it doesn’t require mashing for its primary benefits.
