- 1 TBSP Pink Himalayan Salt – Salt will enhance the other flavors and spices.

- 1 TBSP Sugar (Optional) – Sugar makes your pickles more palatable and less tart and sour from the acidity of the mixture.
- 1.5 Cups Filtered Water – Water helps create a liquid for the cucumber to pickle.
- 1 Cup Distilled White Vinegar – White Vinegar will help your flavors meld together better.
- 1/2 Cup Packed Fresh Dill – Fresh dill adds a delicious citrusy, fresh, taste.
- 4-8 Cloves Garlic, Peeled And Smashed – Garlic helps form the paste and like the shallot, the raw garlic sharpness mellows out during the fermentation. If you must, powdered garlic is better than nothing.
- 2 LB Cucumber, Cut To Desired Shape (Chips, Spears, Slices, Etc.) – Cucumbers will turn into pickles as soon as 24 hours later.
