These PBW tablets give you a clean way to handle your brewing equipment without needing to measure out powder. Each 10g tablet is meant for 1 gallon of water and dissolves quickly in warm water to make an effective cleaner.
PBW (Powdered Brewery Wash) is good at removing leftover fermentation material like krausen, protein films, sugars, and hop oils. It’s a non-caustic, buffered formula, so it’s safe on most common brewing surfaces—stainless steel, plastic, glass, rubber, and even softer metals.
You can use them to clean fermenters, tubing, bottles, and other equipment. Most items clean up in about 15 to 30 minutes of soaking. If something is really dirty, a longer soak or some light scrubbing may help.
After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If you’re reusing the item for another batch, follow up with your usual sanitizer.
